JOB VACANCIES

We are looking to recruit a further Nurse Practioner and this advert will shortly be available on NHS Jobsite.

We have a Dispensary Apprenticeship which will be a full time role with training provided. You must be willing to study towards Level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills (NVQ) (QCF) and  Level 2 Certificate in Pharmaceutical Science.

We also have a full time apprentice vacancy who will be required to study for an NVQ2 in Business Administration. This will be partly working in our dispensary as a prescription clerk.

New telephone system

This is now up and running - please bear with us as we get to know the new system. All calls are subject to your normal landline/mobile rates for calling a BT local number

Online Appointments

A small number of appointments only are available to book online  during this interim period.

We are planning to make improvements to our online offering in the next few months.

Missed appointments

We continue to have a very high number of patients who fail to attend appointments they have made each day so please do remember to cancel so they can be offered to other patients who may really need them . You can cancel your appointments online. 

 

Practice Management

Miss Julie Withey (f)
Is our Business Manager and deals with finance and the development of the practice. She is the overall manager of the business.
Mrs Gina-Marie Peckitt (f)
is our Practice Services Manager. She manages our Admin and reception teams and deals with initial complaints.

Administration

The practice employs a number of receptionists and an administration team. They do a difficult job well and are here to help you. Please remember, when asked by the receptionist what appears to be an intrusive question, she is only acting on instructions from the doctors.  Receptionists and other staff are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.
