Noticeboard

We are currently altering the way we recall patients with Long Term Conditions(eg Diabetes, Asthma). This might mean your annual review could be slightly earlier or later than previously

In addition this year we are introducing a new approach to managing long term conditions for many of our patients. Our new approach will include the production of an annual care plan highlighting agreed goals. Further details are available from the menu on this website

Holiday Vaccinations

The practice nurses provide advice and vaccination for all foreign travels. Please complete a holiday questionnaire (available from reception) and return it to the surgery at least eight weeks before you intend to travel. The nurse will then check if you require any vaccinations and any necessary appointments can be made.

St Nicholas' Surgery, Withernsea and St Patrick’s Surgery, Patrington are registered Yellow Fever Centres. Some vaccinations may incur a charge. .

Information about countries and vaccinations required can be found on the links below:

It is important to make the initial appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travelto allow the vaccines to work.
