We are currently altering the way we recall patients with Long Term Conditions(eg Diabetes, Asthma). This might mean your annual review could be slightly earlier or later than previously

In addition this year we are introducing a new approach to managing long term conditions for many of our patients. Our new approach will include the production of an annual care plan highlighting agreed goals. Further details are available from the menu on this website

Dental Services

The NHS East Riding of Yorkshire Dental Department is responsible for the Commissioning Dental Services in the East Riding of Yorkshire area, they can help with general dental queries, access to NHS dentists, dental charges etc.  If you have any concerns, questions or need any advice please call them on 01482 672167 between 10am and 1pm, Monday to Friday.  Or if you prefer, you can email your query to dental@erypct.nhs.uk and they will respond to your query as quickly as possible, please do not email with requests for urgent treatment or advice on treatment you have recently received as they do not provide a clinical/emergency service, if you are in pain from treatment you have recently receive please contact your dentist.

Dental Access Centres

NHS Dental Access Centres (DAC) represent a new approach to providing NHS dental treatment and complement existing local dental services.

Due to the high demand for NHS dental treatment the centres can be very busy so it is advised that you telephone them before you visit to make an appointment.  Please note that in most cases NHS dental charges apply.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Access to NHS dental treatment, and advice
  • Consultation with an experienced NHS dentist
  • An estimate of the treatment cost
  • Information on other local NHS dental services

Sometimes treatment may be free of charge, (please take proof), or ask for leaflet HC11 available at the centre or from main post offices. You may also be able to have free treatment under the NHS low income scheme. Ask at the DAC or your nearest social security office.
